Valentin Porter, MS, ATC
Director of Sports Medicine

Valentin Porter, Director of Sports Medicine, oversees all Athletic Trainers who work as part of the Howard County Sports Medicine Network. She also serves as ATC for Crystal Place Football Club USA of the United Soccer League, Reservoir High School , and the University of Maryland’s Men Rugby club team. In this role, she uses her professional expertise to provide on-field medical coverage, treat and rehabilitate injured athletes, develop injury prevention and performance programs, among other responsibilities.

Valentin earned a Master of Science degree in Athletic Training from California University of Pennsylvania. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in Health Education with a concentration in Athletic Training from Morgan State University in Baltimore.

Prior to her current position, Val assisted in the treatment of patients at Professional SportsCare & Rehab’s Laurel location. She currently works out of the College Park location.
