Kala Flagg works as Clinic Director and Rehabilitation Coordination for University of Maryland College Park Athletics.  In this position, Kala uses her expertise in sports medicine and orthopedics to provide Terp athletes with a full range of treatments and ensure continuity of care from pre-surgery physical therapy through return to play. Kala manages post-operative and post-fracture rehab as well as works with non-surgical athletes with chronic or difficult to manage injuries.

Kala is an alumnus of Howard University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences and a Master of Physical Therapy degree. She is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).

Kala enjoys working with pediatric physical therapy and special needs populations. She also consults with professional athletes in various sports as needed.
