Gary Katz, PT, ATC, CSCS
In his work at Maryland SportsCare & Rehab and Professional SportsCare & Rehab, Gary Katz, PT, ATC, CSCS focuses his attention to providing the utmost care and service to his patients. Gary has created two of the largest physical therapist owned and managed companies in the Mid-Atlantic region, providing state-of-the-art and expert physical therapy services. Services include general orthopedics, sports medicine, aquatic therapy, manual therapy, post-operative care, hand therapy, total joint rehab, spine rehab, arthritis and pain management, work injuries, and wellness and fitness.
Over his 20 year career, Katz has become a consultant to the NHL's Washington Capitals Hockey Team and is active with youth hockey. In addition, Gary has helped treat professional and collegiate athletes, including the United States men's weight lifting and women's gymnastics team at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Katz is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, National Athletic Trainer Association, National Strength Training and Conditioning Association and often supports the Diabetes Research Institute as well as the Arthritis Association.
Gary received a Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy and Athletic Training from the University of Connecticut in 1988, with graduate level work in strength training and conditioning.
